Confusion regarding ontario vs. other provinces. Please Help.

Hello fellow members!

I was going to apply for a PG diploma in finance (2 year) from Humber College for september intake, 2014.
But, recently my friend suggested that i should do a program from bow valley college, calgary as there is much better scope there and the PNP is easy in Alberta.

I am really confused, as to which place should i do my PG diploma from as to land a good job and which college has better reputation. And now because of PNP i am also considering other provinces too.

which place has better demand and jobs for commerce graduates? And which colleges do you guys suggest (from any province)?

Also, i didn't have Maths in my 12th. Will that be a problem?

Every suggestion would be really helpful to me. Thanks!

But if you wanna settle,get PR you must go to Alberta,Manitoba. Its the best place to get PNP . one of my friend got PR in 3 years(including 1.5 of years of study) in Manitoba and he just worked at gas station. Right now he's studying at University at domestic fees. Once you get the PR you can do anything. Study, job or anything you have in your mind!!

I read that bow valley college is not a recognised institute for pgwp.

Tiger sir wrote that you will not get a PGWP after the 2 year course from bow valley college, calgary. But in the cic website the college is in the list of participating institutes.

Can some one please help me with this? I can't understand it.

What kind of program did your friend study for 1.5 years? And how come he was able to stay another 1.5 years just working at a gas station? Was it PGWP?

Hey buddy Bow valey college is in the list of colleges recognised for pgwp.

he studied Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Red river college. It is a 17 months course.

As you'll read the PNP of Manitoba, you need to job any kind of job not like the relevant job in ontario. So this was the deal-breaker . He showed 6 months of job to get the PR after 3 years.
