Confusion regarding "implied status" and bridging open work permits, on a post graduate work permit.

Hey folks,

I'm currently on my PGWP, which is expiring on Aug 31st. I received an ITA to apply for PR yesterday and am planning to send off the application by today or tomorrow.

I just have a bit of confusion regarding "implied status". As long as I receive an AOR and R10 has been finished, I should fall under the implied status, meaning I retain the conditions of my PGWP.

Does that mean I can continue to work without having to apply for an BOWP until a decision has been made?
 
No. You need to apply for BOWP before your PGWP expires to be on implied status. Applying for PR itself doesn't give you implied status.
