Hi All,

I am a bit confused with the eligibility criteria which states

The one-year work experience must have been obtained within the three years preceding the date your CEC application is received.

I was in Canada from Aug 2010 till Dec 31st 2011. So, am I satisfying this criteria.. since according to me it is within 3 years.

Please help...

Yep your right

To be more precise the time counted will be from December 2010 to December 2011. The part gained from august wont be valid, obviously you will obtain a reference letter which will mention those dates you mentioned.

The main answer is yes, your good to go. just get the app in quick because you leave it a month and the 12 months you gained will be invalid so be quick

Thanks Suvan the problem is my IELTS results will only be out at the end of this month , so that is a problem is there any alternative ... and can I apply in any other category...

All ways of applying needs a noticed English certificate. Iv heard CELPIP is easier, why don't you try that

I am going for IELTS but unfortunately my results may not come in before 13 days from the date of the test which is dec 14th .CELPIP cannot be taken outside Canada.. Can I apply under a different category other than CEC

All ways of applying require an English test, sorry to sound harsh friend but you should of thought of this way....way back. you have only yourself to blame.

They can come through in two weeks if your lucky, there really isn't much else
