Confusion????? HELP

please tell me one thing.... i am going to uni of windsor and there are 2 options
1. either i do my degree meng in ece in 1 year
2. or i do my degree in 16 months
i have one confusion that for how much time i will get work permit after 1 year study there OR after 16 months study.because my friends are saying that people are getting 3 yrs wrk permit after 1 yr as well after 16 months.

1 year course or 8 month =1 year work permit after completion of course
2year course or 16 month 3 year work permit""""""""""

Parry is right. to add, the duration of the programe is the time a student takes to complete it under full load. neither accelerated nor part time. rather, full time studies. if a degree is of 2 years full time, 2 or 3 years of work permit.

Whether I am eligible for Express Entry?Please guide. I am from India and my qualifications are as below,
1. BTECH(MECHANICAL) - 72% - 2009
2. SENIOR SECONDARY - 93% - 2005
3. SECONDARY - 92 % - 2003

I have not written IELTS yet. My exam date is jan 2015 and I expect 6.5. The problem is I have worked from 2010 until now in a field entirely different from mechanical. If I obtain a certificate of experience in Mechanical field is it become a problem? Or what else is the possibilities. Please help. What are my chances of student visa for MS.

yes you can apply for student visa. you would need to show a letter from the employer as a proof of your employment. if you want to get a degree in mechanical then it is better to show an experience letter in mechanical. but, if you want to have a degree in the field you have been working, then no need to show mechanical experience.
