Confusion about NOC

I want to apply for EE and i have done bachelors in electrical comp. engineering and i have work experience of more than 1 year in software testing. Now i am studying masters in data science and want to work in this field in future so if i mention 2173 as NOC then how will i get job related to data science whose NOC IS 2172?
My question is that wt NOC should i write in my EE profile and can it be later updated?

Hi,

Select the NOC in which you have performed the duties and held the responsibilities listed. Once you are a PR your primary NOC will not matter. You can apply for any job in any field.

Thanks . As 2173 is an occupation that needs to be registered with CIPS like engineering so

No, its not. You can register once you are in Canada.
