Confusing situation

I am in a confusing situation. ???

My brother went to Canada about 2 years ago for a PGD, and his documents DID NOT revealed anything about me, including the relationship certificate and other siblings declaration, he did this in order to convince VO that our family has sufficient funds to support him alone.

Now, it's my turn, I just got accepted into masters program at a Canadian university, and I am in a dilemma whether to show anything about my brother at Toronto (he is currently pursuing another degree), I will be going to Onatrio, but not in Toronto. If I did the same as my brother did by not showing him as a sibling and not mentioning about him, will they check and know about it?
If I stated correctly about my brother at Toronto, will it negatively affect my chances, since they will think that both of the brothers have an intention of settling at Canada, and will grow suspicion towards sponsoring capability?

Any suggestion would be welcome.

they will surely get to know and when they come to know, you or your brother will have to face problems. even when your brother will apply for PR, they will get to know when they do background check.

Thanks, I have decided to show them everything, including my brothers application, if thats a problem and they ain't giving me visa, they don't deserve me ;D I'll try Australia instead.

Yes you need to explain every thing and do not need to hide details about your siblings although you can get study permit by hiding details but you will face immense problems when you apply for PR
