I am a bit confused now. I am sponsoring my husband to come to Canada as an Outland applicant. I know his visa office is in London UK. I was on the CIC website and trying to find information, so I clicked on where to send your application based on visa office. Now I understand that the application has to be sent to London. However... What gets sent to Mississauga? My sponsorship application alone? Or the entire packet including my husbands part? From there do they send on the entire package to the London Visa office once we get approved for me sponsoring him? I'm just confused. Do we need to send packages separately at different times?

No send them together, in separate envelopes (properly labelled), to the office in Mississauga, Ont.

Send BOTH applications first to Mississauga. They will approve/deny your sponsorship and then forward his part of the application to the correct Visa Office.

All of it, your sponsorship app and his PR app, go together to Mississaugua in one package.

Wow quick replies thanks guys. What will they do with my part if it is accepted? Keep it on file? And if he gets approved in London do they keep his file as well? What happens to the entire application? Do we get it back? What is the process after we are both approved? I read on the forum something about PPR card and paying a fee? What fee? How much is the fee? And what is the difference between a PR card and PPR card and the fees you have to pay for them?

1) They keep your entire application. Sometimes they send photos or other documents back but not always. You can ask after your applications has been approved/denied if they can send some documents back but it's not a guarantee
2) How much was the amount you paid for your application? $1040? Then you're good and your entire application fee has been paid
3) PPR is the passport request. If your husband is from a visa-exempt country they will just ask for a copy of the first page of his passport. If he is from a non-exempt country they will ask, at one point, for his original passport so they can put a visa in to enter Canada. I think that for this visa you have to pay a fee but I am not sure. They will tell you when you receive the passport request
4)PR card is the card you receive about 2 months after you landed in Canada as a permanent resident. It allows you to leave and re-enter Canada as often as you like

They likely will not return your application, that's why its important you only send photocopies or duplicates of photos, love letters, anything with large sentimental value.

I don't remember the price, my husband paid. My husband is from Ireland. Is that a visa exempt country? So he doesn't have to pay for a fee than?

And what will they do with the copy of the first page of his passport? Will that help in not creating an issue when he lands in Canada? Sorry for all the questions!

He is visa-exempt so he won't get a passport request. They will ask for the first page of his passport to be able to issue his COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence) which has his passport number on it. They just want to make sure that his passport number hasn't changed so he wont get in trouble when "landing as a PR" in Canada. When he lands in Canada he needs the COPR and the passport.
