Dear All,
I am posting this thread with so much expectation. I will be more than thankful for your precious advice.

My husband is a student since Jan'18 in Canada and we got married in Jan'19 in Pakistan. He flew back to Canada after 15 days.
Now we want to be together in Canada. I do not hold a strong financial funds and I will deposit it just now in my account which will not be mature. My husband has $20,000 in his account since 11 March'19.
We were very confused so we have consulted a Registered Canadian immigration consultant in Canada.
The cases are below:
1) SOWP: My husband will show $20K and I will show $14,000 in my account but the funds are not mature. I am an engineer and would be working there.
2) Visit visa: My husband, me and my sister(canadian citizen) will show out bank summaries. My husband will invite me for visit in summer, my sister just had a baby six months ago and she also has a job so she will also provide an invitation letter to me. I would show $6-7K in my account. I will show a letter of absence from my boss that I will be joining him after my visit.

According to my consultant Visit visa is better. But we are still not sure about it

Some important info:
I do not have any property in Pakistan, I do not have strong ties in Pakistan as my husband is in Canada and my parents will not be strong ties according to IRCC. I can only show my job as a ties.

If any of you has any better advice, it is more than welcomed.

I am sorry for the long post, I have tried to make it as short to read as possible :D
I am very much in need of suggestions and help.
Thank you.

You ought to apply for the Spousal Open Work Permit since I assume you want to be with your husband in Canada, right? Not just visit him for a few days?

If your husband has a valid study permit and is engaged in full-time studies at a University, community college, publicly funded trade/technical school, you will qualify for the SOWP. This is usually pretty easy to get for legitimate students.

Also, note that you will need a visa in either case - you will get a visa as part of an approved work permit.

our response!! Yes I understand that visa is easier to get but my home ties are weak, and financial funds are not mature. These are the reasons we are thinking about visit visa now..
