Hi guys,I need a little bit of help,I know I am allowed to work 20 hours per week but today I had to stay for 2 more hours,so the total hours that I worked this week is 22 Hours,will I get in trouble for this?Anyone with experience like this,Opinions?

Yes - this could get you into trouble. Any hours you work above 20 hours a week is illegal work. Don't do it again if you value your future in Canada. Explain to your employer that your work hours per week MUST be limited to 20 hours a week or less. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure you follow the rules. If you violate them and are caught, you won't be able to blame your employer. CIC will hold YOU responsible and take action against you.

Well , you should try your best to stick to 20 hours per week , you would get into trouble for working any more than that , as long as no one reports this incident I think you're fine ,but do try to not cross the 20 hours per week limit anymore.
