Hi everybody.

I applied for the PR at the end of August. On September 17, I received an email from the Buffalo office confirming that they received my application. I've been regularly checking on e-cas for any update but I always had the same "Application received" (it's not even a status in the immigration handbook).
Anyway, I received the medical exam forms in October and did not know what to do since I had to do them within 60 days of receiving the forms.
However, my status had not changed on the website. I called the call centre but all they could tell me was "well if you got the medical forms you should do them" although I'm supposed to wait for the office to tell me I passed the first stage and that I should proceed with the exams.
People at the call centre were not sure themselves.
Now, on e-cas it says"medical exams results received" but it does not even say "in process". I'm confused.

Is it normal?

I am confused by your confusion :) Why would you wait before doing your medicals? If they sent you an e-mails asking you to do your medicals, you do them

Don't pay too much attention to the status on e-cas. The mere fact that you received medicals means that your application is well in process. They usually update it much later, if ever.

I already sent passport to Buffalo for visa but may e-cas still shows in process, medicals received.

So breathe, relax and be happy, you are good.

Thanks Phatalo. I don't know why I was confused but it makes sense I guess. :D
I cannot wait for my PR!
