Good morning
I was wondering if someone could help me
My dad put in a sponsorship for both my brother and I
I was approved and arrived after 10 months, my brother however was not approved
At the time I was and I had to leave him in Jamaica
He was never asked to do a medical nor a DNA test
However 3 months after I arrived in Canada he was sent a letter from Kingston stating that he did not
meet the requirements of the family class sponsorship
this is 5 years ago, my dad did not appeal the decision because he was so angry at the decision that was made
I was very ignorant to the process and still admittedly am
Can anyone help me with advice of what steps we could now take to appeal this decision
Or if there is any other route we could take

Unfortunately it's far too late to appeal. You only have a narrow window after the application refusal during which you can appeal.

Why was your brother refused? Your father would have been provided with a reason in the refusal letter.

At this point your brother's only option is likely to apply to immigrate independently through the skilled worker class or one of the provincial nominee streams.
