confused about passport

[Need Canadian Pr]

my passport will expire by 5 moths
so last week i went to ottawa my embassy for new passport , hope so i will receive by end of this month and then i will send one copy to CIC

my question when i will receive PPR should i send both passport or just new passport

please advise

I siggest you wait till you get your new passport and then send that one.. CIC wants at least 6 months expiry on passport.

Mine was valid for 5 month and 28 days. Got visa and corp.
