confused about engagement and registered marriage

ok so i had an arranged marriage.... our reception was done for our relatives to meet eachother...

but we had no formal engagement. we then proceeded to get married... but before that we registered legally married on same day as our wedding.. that morning registered married then afternoon had wedding ceremony...

but we never had a formal engagement so what do i put for engagement on what day??? im confused please help

Put the truth and include a letter explaining any oddities or discrepancies

You didn't have an engagement answer no,its that simple . The VO office that your application is sent to will understand your culture .You will have a space to explain your relationship that's the piece that's most important ,explain every thing there.

Explain in details why there was no engagement. If you say it because of your culture and customs they will understand.
