I am going to fort st john bc via British airways from Delhi airport .As my flight till Vancouver is from British airways they said that as a international student I can carry 3x23kg each checkin baggage and a 23 kg carry baggage and a laptop bag.but I am not getting correct info for Vancouver to fsj flight that is operated by air canada express-jazz.when I askd abt this to British airways they told me to contact air canada but m not getting info on their website.i m in a very confused situation.kindly help.

did u buy two separate air tickets? most of the time airlines have a baggage agreement. Meaning u buy ticket from lets say british airways then one filght is BA and BA arranges for another flight or have a agreement with Air canada then most of the time BA baggage rules apple.baljit singh said:

Who issued this ticket, if it is a travel agent ask him or if you buy online you need to ask them. If all the flights in a single ticket with one E-ticket number you dont have to pay any baggage fees. If it is two different ticket numbers, at the time of checkin for air Canada in Vancouver you have to pay $25 for each 1 and 2nd bag, 3rd bag will be $100 i.e 3 bags will cost you $150+tax
where did u buy it from?agent? if so ask ur agent about it...most likely u wont have any problem but just confirm....baljit singh said:
Ya I would ask him...but one thing I wana while issuing ticket he told me that I m allowed 2 checkin n a carry bag but when I enQuire about the same from Ba they told me that I can cary 3 bags in chkin n a in cary .cant understand why these airline companies have pan rules.
