Hello forum! My husband and I are married for almost 7 years now. We also have 6 years old child together. Our marriage was arranged by our families. My husband sponsored me, our immigration took 3 and a half years. During this period my husband used to visit us back home but then I found out he had extra marital affairs in Canada. My child was a toddler then so I compromised and our families tried to solve this conflict among us. But it became a routine, my child loves my husband so I had no other option but to compromise. I thought he must had needs and I was living so far away and when wes start living together things would be different and better. But ever since I have moved to Canada, my husband started forcing me to work and make my own money to spend. I started working, during this time my husband forged my signature and started getting child tax benefit in his own pocket. And now I am working out my child's and my financial needs by my own. He even picks fights over buying groceries. We dont even share same bed. Its been 2 years now I am living in Canada, would I be deported back if I separate from him?

No - you won't be deported if you separate from him. Your PR status is safe. You can go ahead and leave him. Sounds like a very bad relationship - good luck.

would report him to CRA for forging documents as well....maybe his PR can be at risk instead!

Report him to CRA as well....forging signatures is a crime in Canada! Maybe it will be him who will have to worry about loosing his PR.

no its risk
one of my friend had the same issue
government will think in both ways
if you cant prove your side then cpc will say its a marriage of convent
if you can prove your side with solid evidence then leave him or wait for 3years and leave

He sponsored me after 2 years of Marriage when our child was 1 year old, does it still make it sound like a convent marriage?

Please don't provide incorrect information. She can leave him now. There is no requirement for her to stay 3 years. There used to be a law stating she needed to stay 2 years - this law has been revoked. Again, she is free to leave him now.

You are fine. Please leave him now. Your PR status is perfectly safe.
