HI, LEON, Tiger, momi and other seniors plz help and make me understand.

As mentioned under CEC section:
Education is only assessed if you are applying as a graduate of a Canadian post-secondary educational institution.

If you want to apply based on your Canadian credentials, you must complete either:

a full-time Canadian post-secondary educational program of at least two years or
a one-year Master’s program (certificates and diplomas cannot be counted) and an additional year of education, obtained in Canada, before admission into the one-year program (for a total of two years)

And under Opportunities Ontario, PNP:
Who can apply as an international Masters graduate in Ontario?
Have graduated from an existing Masters program at an eligible publicly funded university in Ontario.
Have completed a minimum of one academic year degree program, while studying on a full-time basis.
Apply within two years of the date on which their Masters degree was granted, or in the alternative, during the last semester of completing their degree

CEC is saying for atleast two year program, while PNP saying atleast one academic year Masters degree?? As after PNP we can apply for PR too. So what is the point to apply under CEC.
I may be completely wrong, just need your advice. Thanks

the sources are:
for CEC its: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/graduates.asp

for Ontario PNP: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPSTUDENTS_MASTERSAPPLY.html#_qualify

Please do reply on it.

There is no conflict in the rules - these are two completely different immigration programs.

To qualify for opportunities Ontario, the master's program must have been completed at a recognized school in Ontario. So one reason to apply through CEC is if you did not complete your master's in Ontario.

I believe the opportunities Ontario program also has a cap or target of 1,000 nominations for this year. CEC has no target/cap.

PNP and CEC are two different stream of programs. check the details here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp

Thanks alot members for your reply but as i am going to apply for Master's admission in Canada, it seems to be easy way for me to apply through PNP rather than CEC as it will need an year experience + 2 years of degree.
Would you please recommend any eligible college or university for MSc in Finance and Accounting or MBA at a reasonable fees as i can't afford big universities.

I really couldn't find any reasonable university or any college that can offer Master program. Please recommend some.

And is it confirmed that for Ontario PNP, only 1 year Master's program will be eligible to apply unlike for CEC where at-least 2 year study is required?
And if there is a cap for Ontario PNP then for other provincial nominee programs as for Alberta etc there is no cap so isn't that attractive for students who like to do Master's from Canada?
