Im under a 2 year conditional permanent residency with my husband. Through my University I was offered a 3 month internship with an NGO in Africa. Is 3 months too long? Would this be considered short term work exception? If I can prove we have maintained a relationship the whole time could my status still be revoked?
I understand this is case specific, but I am wondering how strictly enforced the rules are.
