Concerns about the requirement of Birth Certificate for Pakistani Applicants

Hi,

I am a Pakistani National and I am in a process of applying for my Canadian Immigration via Family Sponsorship Program as my wife is a Naturalized Canadian National. CIC has Country Specific Instructions for Pakistan where they have listed a requirement of an Original Birth Certificate.

I do not have a Birth Certificate and need one. I want to know that from where can I get it? and would it be acceptable as they have mentioned in the document "IMM 3907" Page A-3 that "A birth certificate is acceptable if the registration of the birth was made shortly after the birth"?

You can create an affidavit instead but ask in islamabad threads for more help
