Hello,

I am a Belgian who is married to a Canadian citizen and am now starting the immigration procedure.
On the checklist for the application for sponsorship it says I need to also hand in a document of the medical examination.
Today I went to Brussels for an appointment with a panel physician.
Upon arrival I was told I need to first have the necessary documents from the embassy of Paris before I can do this.

I'm confused now as to what I need to do first, because the checklist specifically demands I need to do the medical examination.

Thank you in advance!

For a spousal sponsorship, they are incorrect.

You ask for an upfront medical, not the normal one.

This IS REQUIRED for spousal sponsorship and MUST be done before submitting your application.
