Hey guys, just curious to know whether the non-availability of company's website will have a negative affect on my CEC application?.
Could anyone please detail out like how the CIC will assess the company's presence. Will they just type the company's name in google and find out or have their own search engines or check the company's business history or licenses on their databases.??.

Will be happy to get answered by anyone.

Company Website doesn;t make any difference, so dont worry abt it.
just mention the full address, telephone and email address.
its good to go......

Yeah that's such an inconsequential thing...so what if your company doesn't have a website? Your boss will hire someone to build it just so CIC can check it out? Having one definitely lends legitimacy to your place of employment, but it doesn't mean that they won't consider your application. It just means they'll definitely call your employer and they might them ask a few more questions than than they would employers who have a website. They'll also run their own checks on your company...probably cross-checking with CRA or something. Don't worry...they have ways of assessing your company's legitimacy, and its website is not the decisive factor.

A phone number and address are sufficient. Just be clear on the reference letter and state that the company doesn't have a website because, after all, it IS a requirement...a bizarre requirement (which should be appended with "if applicable"), but a requirement no less.
