We are in the process of putting together our application for me to sponsor my common law partner. I am a Canadian citizen by birth but we live in the UK (he is a British citizen). Given that the processing time of applications is up in the air, could I move back to Canada and start working with my partner visiting in 5-6 month intervals while we wait for our application to be approved or is this likely to cause us problems?
