Common law sponsorship medical check? Now or later?

Hey everybody. My girlfriend and me are just about to submit our application for permenant residency for her. On the checklist they ask to include the medical check, but on the website they say they will request the medical check? We where going to get her medical check done tommorow before we send everything off on friday, but they say the medical check is only valid for 12 months. So if we do it now and say the whole process from missisuaga and manilla (she is from Japan) takes over 12 months, We would have to get another medical check? Thanks!

go and do it now. If you wait, it will delay your file.
The process might take up to 12 months, but not always. Also, if your PR is ready to be issued and only the medicals are expiring, CIC can extend it, so you might not have to do them again at all.
