I am in a common law relationship and we both have PR
Now i am wondering that the principal applicant may or
may not want to live here and eventually lose the PR
So how does it affect the dependent common law spouse PR
if the principal applicant no longer wants to stay here and the
common law spouse chooses to live here.

If the principal applicant leaves the dependent can stay. Once you are a PR, you are a PR. They don't take it away based on the scenario you have presented here.

Yes as long as both PRs have full PR status, and not Conditional PR (Condition 51) which would only happen if one PR sponsored the other PR as common-law partner under family class. If one PR has conditional status, then of course they must live with each other for 2 years after getting PR.

Absolutely correct. I just based my answer on his/her timeline and saw it was a FSW application ...

I assume there is not condition 51 on those applicants, but I might be wrong.
