Hello,
We submitted our PR application on April 12, 2019 under the common law outland class. Sponsor is Canadian, applicant is American. Our entire application package was returned to the sponsor on May 2nd because "the following identity documents do not meet the requirements for processing: BIRTH CERTIFICATE." We realized our mistake in that we did not submit a birth certificate from the Quebec Directeur de l'état civil du Québec...and just the sponsor's church birth certificate. The letter they sent back did include a UCI # and an application # at the top.
Questions for the group:
1. Do we need to just resubmit the application package as is with only the missing document included?
2. OR....Do we need to refill all of the original documents (with new dates, forms, barcode validation, etc.)?
3. Since we have a UCI #, can we link this to an online application and just upload the missing form? If so what is the link to do that?
4. I am planning on calling them to see what is going on. Is that a good next step?
5. Any other advice here on how to proceed?
Thanks everyone!
