I just found out that my application for a work permit as a common-law partner was refused because I was not able to prove that our relationship as common-law partners is genuine. The problem is that we don't have any lease because we have lived at my parents house, we also don't have a joint bank account because this service is not provided in my country. Is there any way in which I could prove that our relationship is genuine? Please share your experiences, I hope there is still hope to be approved...

Is your partner a PR or citizen? If not, you are posting in the wrong section. The OWP provided as part of the inland application process is not reliant on proving your relationship. It sounds like you applied for a spouse open work permit for spouses of workers or students. If that is the case, you should post in either the International Students section or the Foreign Workers section.
Good luck.

Thank you. You are right. I posted my question in the Foreign Worker sections.
