Have you lived together in the same home for 12 continuous months, and have proof of this?

Hi Rob_TO,

We are in a relationship since May 2013. We lived together for a year and a half here in the Philippines.
He left Philippines for work in Canada last December 2014 and got his PR early this year.

We have alot of proof like pictures, travels and money transfers? Do you think that would suffice? how many months the process will take?

So you were common-law when he landed as PR? Did he include you in his own PR application and did you do a medical exam?

If not, then unfortunately you've made a huge mistake and you are now banned from being sponsored to Canada by him, forever. He has committed misrepresentation in his own PR by landing as "single" when he was in fact common-law. It would not matter if you got married. You should begin to look at ways you can immigrate to Canada independently.
