How long are you planning on being apart?

Sounds to me like they didnt achieve the 12 months. No one here can tell you for certain how CIC will view it, but anything longer than 2 weeks starts to get problematic.

We have been staying together has common law since July 2015 continuously no breaks.... and no news yet from Manila VO, you would think our application is straightforward but I guess not. Common-law is really scrutinized and you need to provide a lot of proof.

I update a LVO spousal sponsorship spreadsheet, which captures whether married or common law. There is no discernable difference in processing times between married and common law (both are slooooowwwww).
