Hi there,

I had a question,we apply a spouse sponsor under common law category.Yesterday 2 police officer knock on our neighbor door and show my picture asking them if they know.we are not home by that time.My question is that common that they visit?

Police officers don't come around confirming information for sponsorship applications. It would seem you have a whole other problem.
 
The only issue as far as I know is that I dont have legal status here in Canada for long time

Are you sure it wasn't CBSA?

I dont have any idea who are they for the nieghbor said police officer!If CBSA they gonna deport me?even the sponsorship is on process?the last time I called immigration they said there processing my elligibilty for my parthner already have approve as my sponsor

Definitely could have been CBSA since you are out of status. Yes, they can deport you even if a sponsorship app is in process.
 
If CBSA has come knocking, they will generally set up a meeting with you and let you know what will happen if the sponsorship application is not approved. You may be required to meet with them regularly to show your ongoing compliance with their orders.
