Is any one applied through sri lankan CHC? i applied and have done medicals and paid RPRF too but its been allmost four months still there is no answer! i applied 2005 Dec. Is there any applicants in this situation?

Ok after the CIc asks you for medicals and RRPF it does not mean your application is done, you still need to wait until they complete the security and background checks.
This may take upto 8-10 months. So usually I suggest people to send an email or letter to CIC two months before your medical is expiring to ask for update.

One of our clients got visa just a week before medicals were going to expire, we sent an update request and they asked for passports right away, gave the visa with just one week validity.
So if its only two months left for medical expiration, ask for update because sometimes they do not even keep track.

Can you pls tell how did you ask for update? by email or by a form? yes, i agree with you they may misplaced the file may be! cause they lot to do i guess!
