hi all,

i read here that if you apply for college then there will be very minimal chance to get study visa, as i was planning to get admission in Selkirk College, BC. But now confused to see this information.

I studied official site but there is no requirement that we must enter university , any one can help ?

Regards

Nope its not like that, there is no such rate for refusal for college. It differs in study only... University study is costly compared to college, university gives degrees and masters wheras colleges are for professional cources which would fetch you diplomas or certificates or PG certificates only...

dear brother,

the data sheet attached with the post showed me

90% college applications were rejected
99% University applications were approved.

i tried to find the link of the post to add here , but could not found it again.

are you confirm, applying in college will not affect my case ?

thanks

i think you are talking about the cases from pakistan.. where college based application rejections were high and university were low..

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkaSzDkxOr5FdC13a2xVbllUWTlJOGkwV3dTRUd5bnc#gid=0

its different from India 90% ppl do get the visa fro college, the course should match the area of ur studies earlier and all docs shud be proper and it wont be a prob.
