Once you are out of school for more than 90 days your study permit will be automatically canceled (which means you will be out of status in Canada). You must also stop working as soon as you are no longer attending classes.

For us to provide you with further help, you'll need to provide more details. When did you stop attending school? What did the college report to CIC? Why was the program canceled?

The college people reported to cic on last Friday and also the reason was during to low attendance and also you said that not more than 90 days. That means what if he gets admission in a college for the January intake. Is everything gonna be fine.
Thanks

Yes - then he should be fine. However he cannot work between now and January.

K thanks for the information and also what if after completing his studies would be there any issues regarding the work permit?

There shouldn't be - as long as you don't work between now and January. CIC has recently started taking a much stronger stance against illegal work and we've seen several cases here recently where PGWPs have been refused because people worked between programs.
