Hi All,

I have 3+ years of work experience in the Digital Advertising industry in reputed agencies..i want to pursue a PG course in Advertising in Canada which is only offered in colleges..However, i have heard Universities are better in Canada..I have currently applied in Centennial and Humber..Can anyone please help and let me know if I have taken the right step and whether the job prospects are good? Would really appreciate any help..

My IELTS score is 7 overall..with no less than 6.5 in any section..

Not sure if this course is offered in any University , but try to do some homework and find out if this course is offered by some university .

else you can go for Centennial college over Humber :- Personal opinion .

Let some expert throw some more light

Good Luck .

Hi Manpreet,

Thanks for your reply. No i have researched a lot but this course is not offered in any university in Canada. they offer MBA courses and other Marketing courses which are generally of 2 academic years.

I am looking out for a 1 year PG course and then a job in Canada for around 2 to 3 years. I have not read good articles here about Humber so wasn't sure myself about Humber.

Can anyone else let me know their opinions on Centennial, Humber or Seneca college? Which of these 3 is the best in terms of the quality of education and job prospects offered?

Thanks in advance...

Okk...this course is $24000...m planning for this course. Only worried abt institute as CUCA is not a full fledge university though it has been granted right by canadain givt to grant degrees.

Does it matter if we do from a high ranked or low ranked univ ?? What i heard was that after masters, ur skills and practical knowledge matter the most.

Ya skills matter a lot ofcourse..do you have any work experience?

Can you share the link for this course you are talking about ..

Also, if its a university it will be anyday better than opting for a college..

Presntly working as a Software Engineer in HCL technologies. I have 1.5 years of work ex in IT domain so far.

Link for the course m talking abt : http://infosec.concordia.ab.ca/

CUCA - Concordia University college of alberta is an institution authorised to graant degrees to students. But clearly, its not among top notch Universities of canada.
