I have a problem in past employmnt. I worked under AGENCY in a certain company for 3 yrs & 9 mos. Now the agency will not give COE which indicates my whole working period of the said company, they will only put 6 mos. If I will submit this COE, can this make my visa refused?.. In my CV, I write 3yrs n 9mos working in that company... Pls. give advise

Well if you're claiming 3 years of work experience but are only proving 6 months of such experience then yes, you will be rejected.

But i have the evidence to show that i am 3 yrs and 9 mos working .. They will only put 6 mos its because i am under the old management of that agency. And now the new management has no more record regarding my emplymnt...

Will this be automatically refused?? They dont give me a chance to submit an explanation letter or anything to prove...?

Get a letter from a former manager or colleague following IRCC's requirements and notarize this letter.

You must provide a document which states your duties and responsibilities and hours worked per week. Expecting to get a chance to submit more documents is extremely risky.

Or should I change the info in my cv, i will just write 6 mos. same as written in the COE.. is this safe than having more documents just to verify the truth of my 3yrs & 9mos?

Sure, but then you can only claim points for 6 months of work experience.

You can submit as many letters of explanation as you like. You are specifically instructed to provide a letter of explanation any time your documentation varies from that which IRCC requests.

You should definitely explain about the company's change of ownership... that does not mean they will give you credit for all the time, but they will understand why the documentation may not be all there.

Not sure what your real question is. I landed in 2011, so I applied long before express entry. But if you read this forum, you will see that the Letter of Explanation is a frequent recommendation.

Thank you for the help..

May i ask regarding the refused/deny visa,. Do they will refuse your visa first before they required you to submit explanation letter or supporting documents?
