This question is confusing. Having a co-op work permit is based on this being a requirement of the program you are studying.

I'm not sure I understand why someone would be applying for an extension to a co-op work permit to start with. And then I really don't see how that's possible if they aren't attending school.

She wants to work but doesn't want to enroll. Her co-op permit expires in September.

It doesn't work that way.

If she wants to continue working, her employer needs to give her a job offer and also get an approved LMIA so that she can switch over to a closed work permit.
