Hey everyone, I will be attending Seneca College come this fall, my course of study will be Brand Management which has a co-op Option for the final Semester. My question is this. Is a co-op really beneficial when doing a 1 year program and if you have done a co-op or internship before did that lead to you getting hired by the same company?
I heard that it is real difficult for students to be successful in express entry while only studying for one year, does the co-op give me an advantage? and if I so happen to get a job offer by that same company would my co-op experience count as work experience seeing that it is paid? I am really trying to make up that 1 year work experience in a bid to maximise my points in express entry.
What do you guys suggest, any tips on selecting a good co-op and also any advice on how to be successful by only doing a 1 year program?
