CNIC issue - Pakistan

Dear All,

We have recently applied for my spouse sponsorship visa in May 2014 from Pakistan. But now I am facing a problem. The present address on my CNIC is not the recent one. I have lived at two different places in lahore. At one address I lived till 2005. And since then I am living in my present place. But my current address on my CNIC is the one where I lived till 2005. Should I get it changed and resend it to immigration office stating the issue or should I leave it like this. Will this create any problem. Any suggestion/advice will be highly appreciated,

This would not be an issue but if you can spare the time to get it updated it doesn't hurt. Having said that I am assuming the address on your passport is of the new place ?

You would need to upload a certified translated copy [since some part of CNIC is in Urdu]. You can update your file from the following link once you have completed the change of address.

thanks fizz for your reply. I will get the address changed. I have nicop so I don't think I will need a translated copy for that. But how to send them the certified copy of my nicop with new address? Or do I just need to upload it? And about passport, there is no address or address field on my Passport.
