Hello everyone, I received a positive LIMA and based on that, I applied for a closed work permit inside Canada online in February 2024. Within two days, I received a Work Authorization letter(IMM5988) from IRCC stating that I am authorized to continue working under the same conditions as my original work permit until a final decision is made. However, my PGWG expired in March 2024, just one month before applying for the closed work permit.
My question is, it's important for me to visit my home country, can I leave Canada and return even if the decision on my application is still pending? Alternatively, can I return via the US and enter Canada by road? I have a Canada Visit visa stamp valid until 2031 and a valid US visa."
