closed work permit to Open

I have had a LMIA based closed work permit for 2 years. I have worked around 8 months with the employer. now employer don't wanna continue with me because he told me he can't afford me..

Can I apply to change my closed work permit to open work permit, what are the chances that I will get it? and what is the procedure....

If you want to switch employers, you would need to secure a new job offer and your new employer would need to obtain an approved LMIA so that you can change to a new closed work permit.
