Closed work permit maximum limit

I came to Canada as a software on intra company transfer. I have valid Lmia and offer letter. My work permit is going to over on this November ( completing 5 yrs). Can I extend my work permit again in this November, since I don’t have problem with company. My doubt is Canada rule for maximum years stay limit.

you have to apply for a new work permit. there is no rule for how many times you can re-new the permit.
