Closed Work Permit and Trv

Hi There!
I recently got my closed work permit and In the same application I submitted the form imm5257_b for my trv, but only get my permit.
I wonder if I have to do a separate application for my trv or call ircc if they forget to process this part.

YES if you are inland, you need to do a separate application.

Thanks for the update, yes inland. my timeline was:
Application: June 11th
WP-EXT letter: June 12th
Approved: July 16th
