I am working in Alberta for a local computer company. I was on open work permit. I applied my AINP with my employer and just got my new closed work permit which is tied to employer till 2017 as I can't work with any other employer anymore.. I applied for my Permanent residence and I just got my file no for Federal PR.
I am working for another company to pay my bills as due to new tied work permit I can't work for any other company any more. Is there any way I can apply a new open work permit? As my new one is bonded with the employer till 2017?
