Clarification required on CAIPS notes

Hi,

I received my CAIPS notes. Seniors please advice what would this mean...
"PAPER FILE SENT TO PA FILE BF'D TO: PS ON 26-12-2016 "

* PA: Storage area of your file
BFD date should be around a year but in your case 2016.... no idea...generally BF date is the date where your file might be open via immigration/Visa officer....

also what is the SELDEC and PSDEC on your CAIPS?

we had applied in Feb 2008 and our AOR was few days before 28feb, so we are among the backlog cases. we had also received a letter of interest from cic in 2009.
hence were trying our luck to see if we are among those lucky ones from the 20,000 lot and decided to order the CAIPS notes.... SELDEC and PEDEC is 0..... sigh
