My husband has his final inland interview in Halifax in a few weeks.

The letter he received indicates what original documents to take, but I am looking for some clarification on exactly what they are talking about.

Letter states:
1. A valid passport or travel document
2. The original of your identity document(s) provided to the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville or the local Canada Immigration Centre
3. All your immigration documents
4. Two photographs are required for each person in your family that is being processed for permanent residence in Canada
5. Proof of Permanent Residence Fee Payment

1 and 4 I understand.

What do they mean by original of your identity document(s)? Is this referring to birth certificate?

What immigration documents are they looking for? Work permit? Visitor extension?

I have the receipt from when we paid the $1040 (which includes the Right of Permanent Residence Fee) - is this what they are looking for?

Thanks!

I think that they mean, if applicable to to you the following:

#2: Identity documents: birth certificate, marriage certificate, passport, driver's licence
#3: Immigration documents: OWP/work permit, TRV, Visitor Extension, Study Permit

Thanks - this was what I was thinking as well - just want to be sure we don't not bring something!

Best of luck. I am bumping this up so someone who is more knowledgeable can see it and confirm.
