Hi,

I'm looking at applying for a PR under a certain NOC (1233).

I have this doubt -
I've worked for an insurance company for a total of 4 yrs. This as such would (as i understand) gives me the maximum points (of 21) as per the work experience table in the instruction guide.

But is it necessary that all the 4 yrs of my employment in the company HAS TO BE under the job listed in the NOC, or if i've worked even 1-2 yrs in that post it's fine? What i mean is that - is the work experience in the NOC listed (to qualify you) is all that they would take for points calculation?

So in my above example, if i've worked a total of 4 yrs in the insurance company, and only 1 yr has been in the claims section, will i get points for 1 yr or 4 yrs?

Pls advice.

Thank you.

You should be under claims section for your experience to count.........

Rest you can hire a consultant to delve deeper.

i have applied under same NOC at Delhi Office

All the best!
