Hello,

Just spoke to Service Canada, if you have an appointment that has been cancelled due to COVID, you will be contacted to do the biometrics, they are trying to resolve all the cancelled case first. Meanwhile, the biometric service remains closed to other applicants.
 
Thanks so much for the update on this. Any progress is progress, I guess. Makes sense to deal with the backlog first.

Did they say anything about when they expect to open biometrics for new appointments? And may I ask which location / city you spoke to?
