Clarification and Processing Time

Hi there,

I have applied for PR under federal skilled worker and following has happened so far:

* Application to sent to Nova Scotia: May 6, 2010
* Response received with application Number: Nov 4, 2010
* Documents send to Buffalo Visa Office: 25 Jan 2011
* Documents returned by Buffalo Visa Office bcoz of signature issue: Apr 27, 2011
* Documents re-send to Buffalo Visa Office: May 5, 2011
* Paper File Number received from Buffalo Office: Jul 12, 2011


Currently the online status tracking says "Received by Visa Office".

Can someone please provide an estimate of the timelines specific in my case...
What AOR means??

Also I recently the checked the Buffalo Processing time and it says "24 months". Does it mean the starting May 6, 2010 or July 12, 2011???

My prediction is in 2012, may be 2nd half of 2012

AOR means Acknowledgementof Receipt --> This is sent out by the visa office to you (My file belongs to New Delhi Visa Office and they send it usually through snail mail, while Buffalo may send it out through email or snail mail...keep vigil on your mail box and junk mail folder too)
Since you are a Pre Juner...I think your timelines are in order (My assumption is based on the large number of pre-june timelines seen by me on this forum)
The delay (till now) in your case has been attributed to the signature problem as pointed out by you...
Yes 24 months is the average processing time- you have the correct info...and IMO the 24 months should be counted from May, 5th 2011
