Hi
i have few question and appreciate if somebody help me.
first problem is, that i have no evidence to prove i was in prison and been tortured for been involved in political protest. my country held those information in secret and u cant get them in any shape or form.
im really scared for my life, they free me from prison 5 month ago but they never let u alone for ever!
i know lots of people in my situation that all of sudden got decades of prison sentence.
i recently called back again for more interrogation and they said we are not done and expect more of these.
as i said i have no documents to back this claims and im wondering do i even have a chance? between uk and canada which one is better based on my chance and the process speed? i heard its at least 2 years for canada! is it true or it can be shorter based on my situation?
i had a friend who went to uk last year and got the whole thing done in 2 month! unfortunately lost contact with him so i dont know how was the actual process. im really confused on what do to and where to go.
my other question is when u get to a country should u claim asylum in port of entry or do it inside the country?
do i need to get help (lawyer/...)? do they have an effect on the acceptance of my claim or how fast they process it?
