The application checklist states "If you (the principal applicant) are legally married to your sponsor, provide your marriage certificate or other proof that your marriage is legally registered with governmental authorities in the jurisdiction where it took place. A record of solemnization or marriage license is not acceptable"

What "other proof" could I provide besides the actual marriage certificate itself? Manitoba Vital Stats is currently 10 weeks out processing marriage certificates even with rush service. Its the only thing left im waiting for in order to submit the sponsorship app. Can I use some other proof to get the application in sooner without waiting over two months?

You need to wait for the marriage certificate. A lot of provinces seem to have a long wait when it comes to issuing these, but there's no way around it. If you apply without it, they'll return your whole application and you'll be at the back of the queue when reapplying.
