Dear Civil eng professionals,
I have a question - I have a master degree in civil engineering and work in a construction material company for more than 3 years.
My main job responsibilities are actually utilising my structural engineering (that is my specialisation in both bachelor and master) knowledge to:
develop software for product's structural design and analysis;
provide material-related design specs for key customers - civil and MEP designers
draft guidelines for design, construction, inspection, and testing of the relative construction material in civil and infrastructure projects.
perform research to investigate non-conventional construction material application method
etc.
Taking a closer look, I do not necessarily think NOC2131 description is necessarily a good match to my current responsibilities, or the company I work in.(not a design/consultant firm)
Do you think NOC 2231 (technologist and technician) is more relevant?
Thanks sooooooo much!
