Citizenship - Urgent Processing

Feb 2017 I was abroad. I returned in May 2017. After checking the mail, I found the fingerprint request. The next day, I made the fingerprint. Regarding March 2020 fingerprint, there was breakdown and no flights to return to Canada till July 2020.

So yeah, looks like there's probably no issue with criminality but they are doing deeper security checks for you for some reason.

I really hope they finish your application soon. This kind of wait just makes my head spin. I'm sorry you are in this situation and I can only give you my best wishes and hope that you get out of this situation soon.

One week ago I sent web form for urgent processing. Today the agent told me that he can see that another fingerprint request is about to be sent to me!

Why the August 2020 has not been changed to "Completed"? Was it because of Covid-19 pandemic?

Is the new fingerprint a new start over? Could the new fingerprint expires without the status change to "completed" like what had happened before?

Have you been in Canada since 2016? If not how much time have you spent outside Canada?

Hello , I’m so sorry you have to go through this awful wait ! I notice that in 2018 you were scheduled twice for your test - once in feb and then again in September - but the test doesn’t get marked as completed until June 2021. Did you reschedule your tests in 2018 and ended up being unable to take them until recently ?

What is the benefit of hiring a lawyer when there are 23 pages withheld from GCMS notes and the application is stuck in background verification? (For more than a year the background verification is in progress. A new fingerprint is required according to the IRCC agent, but IRCC has not sent me the letter yet.)
